Join us for the next plugfest on 11-12 April. This is a Hybrid event. In-person space is limited.
Welcome to the Cybersecurity Automation Village, hosted by the Open Cybersecurity Alliance (OCA) Cybersecurity Automation SubProject (CASP). This event brings together global cybersecurity vendors, end-users, thought leaders, and individuals passionate about cybersecurity automation.
The CASP Community plans to hold a two day HYBRID event featuring plugfest sessions, special guest speakers, contests and demonstrations. The objective is to present and demonstrate working interoperating systems contributing to cybersecurity automation, particularly across different participants and across the different standards.
How to Participate:
Secure your spot by registering here, subscribe to the CASP mailing list, attend biweekly CASP meetings, and join the #casp channel on OCA Slack. Event discussions will take place using these different vehicles. For confirmed event details, visit the event github site.
Date: April 11-12, 2023 / April 10, 2024 (optional setup day)
Location: Hybrid – Peraton Offices, 1875 Explorer St, Reston, VA 20190
Special thanks to our sponsors: Peraton, who graciously agreed to host the physical segment of our event including Happy Hour on Thursday evening, and Cyware, our sponsor for lunch each day.
There is no charge for either in-person or virtual participation. In-person attendance is limited and priority will be given to those with the highest amount of sweat equity. In-person participation should be limited to one person per organization. Notable exceptions might be if an organization had different SME’s for different demoable technologies (e.g. one for STIX Shifter and one for Kestrel).
By registering, participants agree to abide by the Code of Conduct .
Interoperability Validation Sessions:
Participation is encouraged in vendor “Interoperability Validation” sessions, where vendors present how their products fit in the value propositions and use cases, and participants inquire about vendor-agnostic standard interfaces (SBOM, VEX, STIX, OpenC2, etc.). There will be a prep session coming soon. Join the CASP mailing list to gain access to more information.
Explore a tentative list of projects (technologies, standards, open source) to be interworked in CASP use cases. For detailed demonstrations, refer to the Demo Use Case and Demo Use Case tech sections on the CASP github site.

About the OCA Cybersecurity Automation SubProject (CASP):
CASP is comprised of global like-minded cybersecurity vendors, end users, thought leaders and individuals who are interested in cybersecurity automation. It is a forum where products from all vendors, researchers, and software publishers can freely exchange information, insights, and reference implementations via commonly developed code and tooling, using mutually agreed upon technologies, specifications, and procedures. CASP is part of the Open Cybersecurity Alliance ecosystem.
How to participate: Join OCA, subscribe to the mailing list, and/or attend CASP meetings.
